Book 11 - The Tempest

My 11th book so far this year is yet another work of Shakespeare: The Tempest.  Our class used The Annotated Shakespeare version again.

This play was shorter than some of Shakespeare's other plays.  This was one of the first plays we have read yet where we really see just how much love at first sight played a role in the plays.  After all, they couldn't be too long, lol.  But it is still interesting how different it is from what we normally see in movies or read in books.
I enjoyed this play a lot.  It wasn't my favorite play, but definitely still enjoyable. :)

Senior Banquet (group photos)

Here are some more pictures of us in groups :D

There was an arch set up so we could have our pictures taken under it :)  (I only almost knocked it over once.  ...  The other time it was the plant that fell over :P )

Buck

I was looking through some old pictures, and, finally, unearthed these pictures of our old horse, Buck.  *sigh* makes me miss him . . . and all horses, for that matter.

Isn't he gorgeous?!?!?!?!?!

This is us getting him :)

Book shelves

I'm leaving for my senior trip tomorrow, and in attempt to ease my nerves, I have been looking at pictures of libraries and bookshelves and home collections of books.  I have found a few I love!

This one is lovely.  Very bright and clean!  And the height of the bookshelves is perfect *grin*

This one looks perfect for a small bedroom collection :)

My favorite layout!  Again, love the perfect height shelves :D And that staircase!

Boston (Day 2 - Evening)

We walked a lot this night.  Trying to find the Boston Commons was an adventure!  We went the wrong way several times (or so it seemed) XD  I have some fun pictures and some of the gorgeous scenery (even though it was getting dark by the time we found it, lol)

From a gate at Trinity Church.

I thought the lampposts were pretty.

Notice:  That sign says Do not Enter. We are entering.  That other sign says don't walk.  We are walking. ;)

George Washington statue against the skyline of Boston.

Beautiful tulips.  And two stray red within the yellow.  Funny enough, they weren't there when we returned to the garden the next day.

Lovely willow tree...

Boston (Day 2 - Morning)

Sunday morning we went out and did a bit more sightseeing.  Most of that time was taken picking up my dad's running packet and seeing the U.S.S Constitution.  A beautiful old ship!

 And there she is . . .

 The view from our hotel.

Another boat.  It was just sitting in the harbor. :)

I like this gazebo.
