Visit with Sarah!

I finally got to go visit my awesome friend Sarah and her college in Tennessee!  It was incredible, and such great fun.  She has lovely and wonderful friends whom I was so pleased to meet. While there I attended several performances; two plays, one improv show, and an awesome choir.  I really didn't take enough pictures!

Getting ready for the One-Act . . .

The actual play!

Cast and Crew ;)

Improv show - you guys were awesome! Positively hysterical.

Rehearsal for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.  I actually got to see this play as well, before we left for home on Monday :)  It was great, and all the kids who came to see it loved it!

Tim took Sarah and I on a tour of the campus Sunday evening.  (Thanks to Tim!)  So much fun, but I was too busy running all over campus to take my camera out of it's bag.  Not my smartest move ;)  But I got this awesome t-shirt!   (phone photography again . . . )

Conner is wore out.  Sleepy puppy.

It was a fantastic weekend full of brilliant people who are kind and God-honoring.  They treat one another like a family and took me in for those few days, and I felt so loved and blessed!  Such a joy to see those who trust God first and foremost in life, and hear tell about their prayers for one another.  Such strong encouragement these friends give!  I would love to return and visit; I had an amazing time!!

Road Trip - Friend Photo :)

One of my favorite pictures from the trip.  We all are so wet, but so happy!

Teen Trip 2012

This year our youth group took a Baptist History tour, mostly within the New England states.  We took several videos and pictures, and with them I put together a video with our theme song for this year's trip: Nothing's Gonna Stop Us.  It shows some of the highlights :)  It's amazing and sad how much of our legacy people don't know about, or don't care about.  There are so many important people and events within our history!

Boston (Day 2 - Evening)

We walked a lot this night.  Trying to find the Boston Commons was an adventure!  We went the wrong way several times (or so it seemed) XD  I have some fun pictures and some of the gorgeous scenery (even though it was getting dark by the time we found it, lol)

From a gate at Trinity Church.

I thought the lampposts were pretty.

Notice:  That sign says Do not Enter. We are entering.  That other sign says don't walk.  We are walking. ;)

George Washington statue against the skyline of Boston.

Beautiful tulips.  And two stray red within the yellow.  Funny enough, they weren't there when we returned to the garden the next day.

Lovely willow tree...

Boston (Day 2 - Morning)

Sunday morning we went out and did a bit more sightseeing.  Most of that time was taken picking up my dad's running packet and seeing the U.S.S Constitution.  A beautiful old ship!

 And there she is . . .

 The view from our hotel.

Another boat.  It was just sitting in the harbor. :)

I like this gazebo.

American Girl Store

We stopped by the American Girl store in Boston.  Aly was ecstatic!  She spend over an hour deciding what to get, and looking around was amazing.  These dolls are so intricate :)
