Yes, it's true, I'm starting a new blog. For many reasons, but this one just never smoothed out the way I wanted it to, I changed it so many times, and my personality had changed along with it. It just wasn't screaming "Me" like I felt it should. If I'm going to have a blog, I thought, I want it to feel a bit like an online journal happy documenting encouraging real sort of place. So that is where I'll be blogging from in the future. Come take a look! :)

July 4th
For the 4th my family and I decided to spend the day at Kings Island, and took a few friends along too. It rained all day long, which in actuality turned out quite nice, as so few people were there! The only problem was that the fireworks were postponed until the next night. So on the 5th we went back over in the evening to watch the fireworks. So beautiful! The park at patriotic music playing in the background as well, completing the beautiful experience.
We spent some time on the 6th celebrating in our own way. My dad managed to find some pretty exciting stuff for us to do!
Rockets :)
And what we thought were bigger rockets: we accidentally set off a few fireworks in our backyard. So pretty though!

Morning at the Arboretun
Granny came up for a short visit! We decided to spend a morning at Cox Arboretum and walk around. It was a beautiful day, but got hot quick! We had a lovely time :)
This turtle was enjoying the sunshine.
So many bumblebees!
This one was so cute, scratching himself with his foot :)
I love waterfalls.

Sammy's Day Out
The homeschool moms had a planning meeting - that day of the year when they all decide what is going to happen to the students of next year while the kids run wild. One family lives on a farm, and kindly "donated" it's front porch for planning, and the property for the kids to explore! I was disappointed not to be going, until I had a brilliant idea - Sammy needed to come! Sure enough, Sam loved his field trip to the farm, and the car ride there (he yelled, "Go! Go! Go!" for fifteen minutes.) He ate [my] pizza and watched llamas and walked the quarter mile driveway all by his little self - and then walked back! Squirt was tired by the time we were done . . . and so was I! Still, we had a good day exploring the great outdoors :D
Walking together :)
Walking . . . not as together ;)
We went down to a little creek :) Michelle was nice enough to let him play in the water a little bit.
Walking back from the creek. It was a lot of walking! Riley tried to carry Sammy boy back for me, but he got mad. This was the look he gave Riley.
It's been a long, fun day! We slept well that night!

God's Not Dead concert
Elizabeth got free tickets to a Britt Nicole and Newsboys concert , and invited me along- how exciting! This was my first concert, and I was so excited! Granted, I wore earplugs through almost the whole thing . . . I'm just not fond of loud noises. Still, it was awesome to see people singing and praising God and having a blast while doing it!
I love Britt Nicole's songs and her passion.
The Newsboys drummer was pretty astounding.
