Once Upon A Time

We just finished season one today.  WOW.  This is one of my new favorite shows.  Retold fairy tales come to life on the screen, in creative, unique, and still classic ways!  Can't wait for season two!!!

Wedding!

On August 11, 2012, my friend Hadley got married!

I don't have any official pictures, but he are some random shots throughout the day that various people took :)

Hadley's Lovely Eyelashes

Bridesmaid Fun!

All in the elevator!  Rebecca has Hadley's train, I carry her lovely shoes, Leann stands by to carry any loose bouquets, and Sarah awaits to help with anything :D
Aren't Hadley's Shoes so amazing!  They Say "I Do"

But Do I . . . ?

Here we go again! Outside for pictures :)

Inside again, Jenn is looking tired but pretty :)
Toria is cold!  They both look a bit tired...

This about sums up the day for Hadley, her mother, and sister.

Lots of talking... XD
More pictures! Jenn and Brian run to get props!

The reception finally came, with many tired feet.  Notice the converse and shoe-less girls? XD

A few portraits

The Kiss :)
Me and my sis.  We wore the same size dress for the wedding.  She is definitely growing...

Riley and me. I'm standing on two steps and he's still that much taller -_- ;)

Sara snapped this pictures for us ^_^  Love it!  Madi joined in too, since she didn't know what the bridal party was supposed to be doing (and I didn't either;)

Babysitting

I was offered a job this year: babysitting for a teacher :) little did I know I would soon experience what my dear fried Victoria called "Motherhood Training" ;) At six thirty this morning I arrived at my destination to find that Sam (7 mo.) Didn't sleep well. Five minutes later Kenna (just turned 5) wakes up, awfully happy for a little girl up too early. So begins our day. At seven I go to wake Madi (6) up. Their clothes weren't laid out as usual. Uh oh. So after convincing M to get out of bed we had to get dressed. The nigh casualties of this excursion were quite horrific. The hood attached to the back of her shirt was quite heavy, or so I am told. For all the complaints I began to wonder of I should check to make sure it wasn't made of iron. Those who sew all over the world would be ecstatic to fond such heavyweight fabric which before no wasn't in existence. It was a short lived discovery, as adding a pink tank top cured this radical shirt of all ailments. Alas, we had still to venture into the dresser for pants. All were too tight, and the complaints received were enough to make one wonder of there was a hidden constricting mechanism to be found in the supposedly innocent fiend "skinny jeans". No other jeans were too be found, and leggings would not do! At last, when all hope appeared lost we found the favorite jean capris in the lost land of laundry hamper. Never mind the state they were in. We had bigger battles to fight! A faint whimpering could be heard from the next room. M informed me that the baby was crying. I believe she forgot our mission. I, however, had not, and the little girls needed sustenance before being sent to school! I continued my attempt at the morning preparations. Cheerios were found and poured into the bowl. Well, dumped unceremoniously in the bowl, table, and floor may be a more accurate description. I called K and asked her to put the cereal back to the bowl. Slightly confused and significantly amused, she abandoned cartoons in favor of the babysitter's silliness. M of court was distracted and insisted on running to look at my mess as well. Another deviation from the mission! I left them giggling and theoretically cleaning the Cheerios mess while I went to save the crying baby from the evil crib. S was glad to see me. So glad, in fact, that he spit up all over the both of us in my attempt to change him. Barely missing the whole drawer of clean clothes that I had just opened. I sojourned to the living room with the diaper clad baby and did my best to clean him one handedly and swiftly. I then returned to the kitchen to find K not emptying cheerios from the bowl since M couldn't eat so many, but picking them off the floor and putting them back in the box. I elbowed the sink on and washed the regurgitated milk off my arms so I could continue making breakfast. K left to let me handle the cereal mess, which I swiftly handled by dumping most of the bowl back into the box, leaving the measly amount M would eat in the bowl. She returned downstairs to peer into her cereal, then asked if I washed it off. Confused, I pulled the milk out of the fridge and poured four parts milk onto her one part cereal. She wouldn't rest it until I, finally understanding her question, assured her S did not spit up on her cereal. She then proceeded to tell me a long story which I don't remember most of while I tried to keep S happy and get K go decide what she wanted for breakfast. M still hadn't brushed her teeth (what she was doing upstairs whiles I was making a mess still remains to be determined) or put shoes on. She couldn't decide if the green or yellow matched better,so decided to wear one of each. Quite frankly I didn't care. After unknotting her shoe laces and leaving her to (hopefully) put them on without catastrophe I went to get the baby's milk in the microwave and then grabbed an outfit for him. While he fought to not get dressed, M deliberated over if her shoes were on the right feet, because they felt weird. Back in to get the milk for S, which he made a mess of and squirted all over his face, make K throw away her yogurt container (which she "forgot") and scribble down how much S was eating. S got mad for unknown reasons, but a quick thrust of a passy and picking him up solved that. M was supposed to be getting her backpack on, but got distracted checking all the zippers. I got the door open and the baby and K outside so we could watch M walk to the bus stop. M promptly took the passy out of S's mouth to kiss him goodbye, which he was quite perplexed about, K tried to follow her to the bus stop, and M made a big deal after walking around a parked vehicle so she wouldn't have to step in the wet grass. After she made it to the bus stop, I took S and K back inside, where we would before too long be getting K ready for school and making lunch.....
